This homeowner contacted ClearTree after storm damage caused a large madrone to fail, damaging nearby trees. They also had declining trees, overgrown canopies, and large piles of branches and brush that needed clearing.

Scope of Work
1. Tree Removal – Chip & Logs
- Large Madrone + 2 Small Damaged Trees
- Location: Downhill side of property.
- Removed a large madrone that had broken during a storm, along with two small trees it hit.
- Service Includes:
- Chipping branches.
- Leaving wood in log-size sections at the base for the homeowner.
- Raking small debris for a clean finish.
- 3 Dying Locust Trees
- Location: Bottom right side of property.
- Cut to a 10–15’ standing habitat snag to provide wildlife habitat value while reducing risk.
- Service Includes:
- Chipping branches.
- Hauling away wood.
- Raking small debris.



2. Reduction Pruning – Complete Care
- 3 Topped Fir Trees located over the shed.
- Reduced canopy by 15–20% with no cuts larger than 2″ in diameter.
- Purpose: Manage growth, reduce weight on limbs, and lower the risk of limb failure.
- Service Includes:
- Chipping branches.
- Raking small debris.

3. Crown Raising – Complete Care
- 3 Evergreen Trees around the driveway.
- Removed 10–20% of lower limbs.
- Purpose: Improve views, provide driveway clearance, and promote healthy upper canopy growth.
- Service Includes:
- Chipping branches.
- Raking small debris.

4. Chipping Branches
- Chipped 1″-6″ diameter material from three piles around the property or as much as possible within the scheduled time.
5. Forestry Mulching
- Used a forestry mulcher to process large branch piles in the wooded section of the property.
- Benefits: Reduced fire risk, improved accessibility, and accelerated natural decomposition.
- Safety: Homeowner maintained a 150 ft clearance during operation per industry safety standards.
Arborist Oversight
An ISA Certified Arborist was onsite for the full project to ensure that all tree removal, pruning, and mulching met the highest safety and industry standards.

By the end of the day, the property was safer, more open, and easier to maintain:
