ClearTree was hired to complete a guaranteed day rate project focused on massive brush clearing, major evergreen pruning, and tree removal in Bainbridge Island. This full-service approach provided the homeowner with cleaner views, improved property safety, and a well-maintained landscape—all completed within one workday.
Scope of Work
Major Evergreen Pruning
- Trees Serviced: 6 mature evergreens located across the property.
- Specifications:
- Removed the bottom 10–20% of the lower limbs.
- Improved scenic view corridors.
- Created safer clearance around structures.
- Supported long-term growth management.
- Result: The trees retained their natural form while becoming healthier, more open, and less hazardous during storms.
Tree Removal
- Tree: One dead cherry located by the road.
- Process:
- Carefully removed down to a low stump.
- All branches chipped onsite.
- Wood hauled away and disposed of.
- Final cleanup with raking ensured a neat finish.
Massive Brush Clearing
- Area Size: A 100’ x 100’ section on the right side of the property.
- Equipment Used: Our forestry mulcher attachment.
- Outcome:
- Cleared out thick blackberry overgrowth and invasive brush.
- Opened up the landscape for easier access and reduced fire risk.
- Restored property usability and created space for future landscaping.
Additional Services
- Woodchip Spreading: Used machinery to spread mulch around tree bases for erosion control and soil health.
- Log & Wood Management:
- Relocated large chunks from the drain field to the property edge.
- Chipped logs small enough for our chipper, recycling them into useful mulch.
- Raised Bed Removal: Removed 2 raised garden beds to simplify the homeowner’s layout and prepare the space for new projects.
